Malik Laraichi along with Carlos Rua and Diana Campo from Spain have created Hajal Atlas, the first Moroccan partridge shoot organization, based on the traditional Spanish ‘driven pheasant’ hunts. The season runs from October through February. What a great get-away, and something not every hunter can or will experience!
Your accommodations will be at the Hotel La Gazelle D’Or in Taroudant. This hotel has attractive and comfortable garden bungalows, a spa and swimming pool, excellent cuisine and classic piano bar for your enjoyment.
A scenic 45-minute drive takes you to the shooting area. This 3-day, double-gun shoot includes five drives a day, three of which will show extremely high, challenging partridges. A light snack is served between drives and a full meal will be enjoyed in the tented field lodge before returning to the hotel. Cartridges and all transfers are included in the full shooting package.
Take an international flight to Paris. From Paris, fly to Agadir, where you will need to go through gun clearance, usually handled efficiently; then you will transfer 40 minutes to the Hotel La Gazelle D'Or in Taroudant
Not a hunter? You may either join the hunts as an observer or you may choose other excursions (tours, shopping, etc.) which can be arranged for you according to your preferences. Side trips before or after the hunt can be arranged as well.
