Little River Plantation's 8 bedroom, 7000 square-foot lakefront lodge, can comfortably accommodate groups of as many as 16 to as few as two. Each room is complete with full-bath, and is fully handicap accessible. The Great Room gives sportsmen, winding down after a day afield or on the water, the luxury of a relaxing evening by the fireplace, a round of billiards, or a quiet rock on the porch absorbing the peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The lighted trap/skeet range offers the option of some after dinner friendly competition. If a special place where you and your guests can relax from the moment you arrive to your departure is what you are searching for, this may be your answer. When it’s time to eat, there will be a delicious southern style lunch or dinner waiting to satisfy the hardiest appetite. Meals are served buffet style in a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy with your friends. Meals are prepared by one of two Southern style Chefs in the well equipped kitchen. There is an open bar in the evenings.
Little River Plantation offers exceptional wing shooting experiences for the discriminating sportsman on the exclusive 14,000 acres attached to the lodge. There are multiple quail hunting options for the wing-shooting enthusiast. Quail hunting is the specialty hunt at Little River. Multitudes of fast flying quail, combined with the careful working of the dogs, and the action and camaraderie amongst fellow hunters and guides, offer a wonderful and unusual hunting trip. Little River Plantation is located in Ashburn Georgia. You will fly into Albany Georgia and then travel by car to the plantation. Or a transfer can be arranged by the plantation at an extra cost.
Activities Visiting sportsmen may avail themselves of some quality fishing opportunities on over 1000 acres of freshwater ponds and lakes, stocked with largemouth bass, blue gill-brim, white perch, and catfish. There is also skeet shooting available.
