click hereInconnu Lodge is in the Yukon Territory and sits on the Continental Divide, Inconnu Lodge's location has access to twelve major rivers and streams and more than fifteen amazing lakes, all within a thirty minute flight by floatplane or helicopter. Imagine waking in the morning, selecting a fishing or hiking spot in the Yukon, and minutes later, you are there with hundreds of square miles of wilderness all to yourself. It gives a new meaning to the word ‘private’. On all of the area lakes, 14- to 16-foot boats are used for all fishing excursions, and jet boats make river travel a breeze. The season at Inconnu runs from mid-June to mid-September.
The main lodge is 6500 square feet, which includes the large dining room, conference room, lounge, bar, store, kitchen and laundry facility. It is all cedar construction. A large sauna and hot tub await you near the lake, a great way to relax and unwind after a long active day in the Yukon. It accommodates up to 12 guests in twin and triple rooms. There are also guest cabins constructed of finished cedar, carpeted, each with a private bathroom. The food is five star and the guides are absolutely the best. The fishing is fabulous. Included in this fantastic trip are: Flights between the Lodge and Whitehorse, All meals and Wine with dinner. Full guide service and all regular floatplane fly-out trips, use of boats, motors, canoes, kayaks, fuel, rods, reels, lures and flies. Overnight stays in outpost cabins (weather permitting) and use of backpacking and overnight gear
There are 7 species of fish in the waters surrounding Inconnu Lodge: lake trout, northern pike, arctic grayling, dolly varden, sheefish, broad whitefish and burbut (or Mariah). Spinning, trolling, and especially fly fishing can easily land seasoned anglers and novices alike fish in the 5- to 30-pound class. Inconnu Lodge is devoted to sustaining and conserving Yukon resources, and operates on a strictly "catch-and-release" basis.
You will fly into Vancouver, British Columbia, then to Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. After spending the night in Whitehorse, you take a chartered aircraft and fly the last 180 miles to Inconnu Lodge, about 45-minutes.
Inconnu Lodge offers a range of activities to their guests besides great fishing. There are helicopter hiking excursions and wildlife viewing expeditions easily arranged. Having access by air affords guests the ability to navigate this amazing area otherwise unreachable by other practical means. Day trips exploring some of the vast waterways of this area by canoe afford excellent opportunities to view bears, caribou, moose, and a multitude of other species in their natural environment. Great Photo opportunities, and even gold-panning….. and of course there is the Hot tub.
