Argentina is known internationally for its famous beef, and Estancia Tres Valles specializes in raising Polled Hereford. This lodge combines style, elegance, comfort and peace with a wonderful view of the Vilche Lake. The Lodge is part of a 10,000 hectare Estancia. It is perfect for the angler who is looking to get away from it all in a remote area. This region of Argentina is known for wide open expanses of land, sparse population, and clear, cold streams that flow through the area. Settled into the landscape below the snow-capped Andes, the lodge overlooks Tres Valles Lake.
Tres Valles lodge can accommodate up to eight guests and boasts four beautifully appointed rooms with twin beds with private baths. Warm furnished rooms with nice closets and storage space make your stay comfortable and uncramped. Each room has a patio with lounge chairs that allow you to take in the view. Delicious meals and an ample wine selection will add sparkle to your stay.
There are two living rooms: one on the main floor and one upstairs each has a fireplace and comfortable seating. There are telescopes good binoculars to view the horizon, wild life, or possibly jumping trout in the lake. Tres Valles also provides Wi-Fi and a computer for guests' use. (A Satellite phone is available at additional cost.)
Rio Pico, is an almost undiscovered area, it offers pristine waters that guarantee an abundance of fish. Its rivers, spring creeks and lakes provide a diverse experience for any angler. In the Pampa River, Nilson River, and Rio Pico, as well as the famous Corcovado River Brook Trout can reach amazing sizes. Here you have private access to exclusive waters.. There are two spring creeks that you may fish from this lodge; one flows through the ranch and will make a perfect beginning to your stay. The lakes can be fished by using a float tube or one of the lodge's well-equipped boats. Whether you like to wade, float, or just walk, the fishing on this trip will be unforgettable!
After an overnight international flight from the U.S. to Buenos Aires, take commercial service to Esquel. There, you will be met by a lodge representative and driven to the lodge-a drive of approximately 3 hours about 125 miles south of Esquel and 15 miles from the border of Chile.
In addition to enjoying the fantastic angling opportunities, you are welcome to participate in the ranch activities at any time. You may choose spending time outdoors hiking, horseback riding or bird watching. If you like to cook, you may arrange cooking classes with the lodge chef. On the Ranch’s private lake you may enjoy rafting, canoeing or sailing.
